ncmp architects was founded in Athens in 1995 by Nefeli Capon and Matteo Pergamian. For more than thirty years, the practice has designed and delivered projects across different scales and uses, from bespoke furniture and private residences to complex commercial spaces and buildings with demanding functional programmes.

Long-standing collaborations with numerous companies in the automotive sector form an important part of this trajectory. The extensive management and implementation of their corporate standards, together with the design of spaces for exhibition, sales, service, training, and administration, have given the practice a depth of knowledge in this field that is rare in the Greek context. This experience sits within our broader body of work, with the same care devoted to every commission, regardless of its scale or use.

Each project begins with an understanding of the place, the programme, and the people who will engage with it. It develops through research, study, and continuous collaboration, both within the studio and with engineers, consultants, contractors, and specialists from different fields of the sciences and the arts. Architectural thinking does not end with the initial concept. It follows the project through to completion, where architectural composition, material, and detail take form in space and time.

We choose to remain a small team of architects, allowing each of us to maintain a personal and daily connection with every project and every stage of its development. Each commission becomes part of our everyday life and matures through collective work, ideas, testing, and the decisions that shape it. What we seek each time is precision within restraint: a space that belongs to its place, responds to the life it will accommodate, and is perceived through the body and the senses.
